What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
last spring I acquired my permaculture design certificate in Nova Scotia, Canada. This past summer I helped with a hydroponic grow operation. We grew organic, heirloom tomatoes, as well as kale, cucumbers, Japanese eggplant, chard, bok choy as well as various herbs and decorative flowers. My partner and I also grew our own garden in soil. We had greens, tomatoes and various other herbs and vegetables. Also during that summer I worked for Earthship Biotecture building off grid, totally sustainable homes out of recycled materials.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
My partner and I have been travelling through Guatemala since January 2015, and have recently entered Mexico. We plan to make our way up the pacific coast and believe working with locals in the farming and sustainable field would be extremely beneficial for us. We no some Spanish but wish to expand on that as well as get a clearer picture of agriculture and sustainable design in this part of the world. As I mentioned, I am travelling with a partner who has much experience with sustainable building and farming as well. We are both very outgoing, hard working, happy individuals who would love to share space with people of similar values. Mexico has captured our hearts so far and we look forward to what is to come on this journey.
