What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?: Not much practical experience, however, pretty familiar with the theoretial apsect of organic farming, agroecology and sustainable development. I'm very eager to gain hands-on experience and prove that organic can and must feed the world! Have been invloved with the activist/policy side of the organic movement and recently finished an internship at PAN North America.

What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?: Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?: Orginally from Bulgaria, I've spent most of my childhood on my grandmother's farm, where we would grow everything from corn and potatoes to peaches and wine grapes. I never thought there is any other way to grow food but organically, until I moved to the U.S. I firmly believe that the current global food system is inherently damaged and unjust.And although I've learned a lot in theory, it is time for me to apply my knowledge and beliefs in practice.I hope that WWOOF is the right place for me to start!
