My name is Valentin. I'm an 18 years old belgian fellow. It has been 8 months now since I'm travelling around in Canada, the US, and now Mexico since a few weeks. And I have been enjoying all the incredible experiences I had the chance to be involved in ! Many different people, places, cultures, languages,...  what an amazing school of life, I already learned so much !

I've worked in 2 WWOOF farms in Quebec, Canada, helping out and learning about sustainable building techniques, maple syrup making, cows and goats milking, cheese making, crop planting and harvesting, quebequois french idioms, and so much more...

Arrived in California a couple of months after, I followed a Permaculture Design certification course at the Arts & Ecology Center in Occidental. Just after leaving this intensive 2 week class, full of news ideas and projects, I met this fascinating farmer who invited me to work on his farm, in Northern California. Knowing my wish to put in practice the permaculture principles that I had just learned, he let me start the design and building of a 30 mts long free-form tropical greenhouse ! He teached me about soil work, compost, water filtration for the 3 pools I dug inside the greenhouse, irragation systems, but also crop working and sales in farmers markets. A wonderfull two months hands-on experience !

I'm now heading south in this other world until august ! Y Ahorita me gustaria mucho trabajar en un rancho al sur de Mexico, hacer otras experiencas y adelantar con mi español... I'm a young curious and enthusiast worker, ready for hard labour.
