Hi, my name is Thea Appleton and I am writing to you regarding a volunteer experience on your farm. I have loved growing food for myself, composting (both traditionally and with worms), creating infrastructure, harvesting and cooking, and look forward to doing so within a community on a larger scale. I am a elementary/art/Spanish teacher and outdoor educator by trade.
I am flying into Cancun on January 5th, and will be ready to travel to start working as soon as possible. I would like to work for a week or so, and then plan on moving on to other farms in the region, but I will be around for about 2 months, so if there are openings at any other time, I would be interested to know. My name is Gregg and I arrive in Mexico City on February 1st. I am currently Wwoofing in New Zealand and it is the best experience of my travels so far. The opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and catch more than just a glimpse of a community is much more satisfying than the tourist trail. I am looking to Wwoof in the Yucatan region and I would be available from early February until about the 13th February when I am due to meet a friend in Cancun. I would love to help out on your farm.

I've been living in Mexico for 5 months now. I worked as a teacher for German as a foreign language in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Now, I am travelling in Yucatan and I hope that I can support your work.

Hola Rafael y Alison, me llamo Rodolfo y mi novia Alejandra, ella tambien es wwoofer (la foto del guarache). Vivimos en Estados Unidos, en Boise, Idaho, pero vamos a regresar a Mexico porque queremos comenzar nuestro propio proyecto que incluye una granja organica, educacion independiente, artes, artes de sanacion, entre otras cosas. Nos interesa mucho poder colaborar con ustedes al mismo tiempo que seguimos aprendiendo. Yo tengo experiencia de trabajo en un rancho con caballos, avestrucez, tambien construccion, pintura, madera, artesanias, cocina, hablo ingles, espanol y me gusta mucho el trabajo manual, ademas de mucha energia y ganas de seguir aprendiendo. Pensamos viajar en marzo y trabajar por 2 meses o mas si es posible.

Dear Rafael and Alison,

I am traveling in southern Mexico starting in about 2 weeks. I will be flying down in early February and visiting Palenque for a while and then I would like to spend some solid time on a farm. Yours sounds like it is happening with many projects to work on. Let me know if there are openings in the next couple of months and if so I would love to discuss the details of my working on your farm.

I do some work with edible mushroom cultivation. Perhaps you would be interested in trying some things with that.

Hi there! I will be leaving for Mexico within the next three weeks and WWOOFing is one thing that I am adamant about doing while I am there. I will be traveling with a friend, who is also a WWOOF Mexico member, and we are interested in working on your farm (It sounds amazing). We don't know when we are leaving yet because we don't know where we want to go (Mexico is such a big country!). Deciding on an initial location will help us find appropriate transportation. Yo soy una chica canadiense de 30 años y quiero hacer WWOOFing en su granja en marzo y abril.

Yo acabo de terminar de estudiar en estudios hispánicos y tengo el plan de viajar a México. Me encantan los proyectos comunitarios y tengo mucha motivación para hacer cualquier trabajo que tengan disponible aunque tengo una preferencia para la construcción o la agricultura. Me interesa la protección del medio ambiente y amo mucho a la naturaleza.

Tengo experiencia en organización de grupo y un conocimiento bastante amplio de las dinámicas de grupo y me llevo bien con la gente en general. Di talleres de Comunicación No-Violenta también.

Hago yoga y artes marciales y me cuido bien la salud y la alimentación.

Quiero saber si hubiera espacio en su granja en marzo/abril para dos personas (mi novio y yo) y cuántos voluntarios tienen en este momento.

My name is Harlan. I am a member of WWOOF Mexico and would love to come work on your farm.

I am 18 years old and am tremendously interested in gardening, nature, sustainability and experiencing a "simpler" life on a farm. Also, I am very exited about all the aspects of work you mentioned on the WWOOF Mexico Website.

I was thinking of coming in early July. Does this work for you? If so, how long could I stay for? Is there room for my girlfriend who is also a WWOOF member to come and work as well? And do you have any pictures of your farm which you could send me?


I am very much looking forward to your response. This has been a dream of mine for quite some time.
