What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?: Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?: Keep it simple!... I live in Montreal,(Quebec,CA) in an appartment with two others roomate but we're often more then 3 people! I had a post-secondary formation in horticulture in 2008. I've not worked so much in my domain because of the winter season but I worked a summer all long as a landscaping worker.

However, one of my responses was positive, so in May I'll be starting work at a farm down in the Chiapas.
My general impression of WWOOF Mexico is that it is still a new program - at least compared to WWOOF Australia or New Zealand, which are well-established and have a proven track record. I think, too, that labor in Mexico is so cheap that places don't really need manual labor and volunteers aren't all that important.
Thanks for getting back to me... and feel free to let me know if there's any places in Mexico that you would recommend. Right now I'm in Cuernavaca, but next week I'll be traveling to Puebla and then Oaxaca, as I make my way down to San Cristobal.
