Please publish your photo in your profile. It is very important that all

WWOOFers have a picture in which they can be recognized by the farm-

managers and other WWOOFers.

Thanks for offering to help but we do not have any openings at this time. Our projects are proceeding very slowly and therefore the number of people that we can except is small. Enjoy Mexico!

Hi Maxime,

I noticed that you'd sent multiple messages to the Farm in Puebla. Did you ever hear back from the manager there? I just posted a message of my own, but I'm not sure how long to wait. Have you tried any other farms in Mexico?

Thanks,

-Mike

Maxime, sorry to hear that your WWOOFing experience was so crappy. I only heard back from two farms, myself... out of the 10 or so that I contacted. However, one of my responses was positive, so in May I'll be starting work at a farm down in the Chiapas.
My general impression of WWOOF Mexico is that it is still a new program - at least compared to WWOOF Australia or New Zealand, which are well-established and have a proven track record. I think, too, that labor in Mexico is so cheap that places don't really need manual labor and volunteers aren't all that important.
Thanks for getting back to me... and feel free to let me know if there's any places in Mexico that you would recommend. Right now I'm in Cuernavaca, but next week I'll be traveling to Puebla and then Oaxaca, as I make my way down to San Cristobal.
-Mike
