What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?: This WWOOF experience will be the first one ! Except that I have my own vegetable garden ! I must add that I m willing to join a fair trade studie program in France, and that I already worked in several farms before.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?: My name is Maxime, from France, but citizen of the world first ! I am currently visiting North America, looking for new cultures, new landscapes, new people and new experiences ! Doing some jobs here and there...Doing what I like the most : traveling and learning as much as I can ! Interested in fair trade and the power of its ideas, I studied international trade to access a program of studies specialized in training actors of the fair trade world organisation. But before integrating such a program, I decided to enrich my knowledge about organic agriculture, and get a concrete experience in it. Discovering WWOOF appeared like having an answer ! I come from Brittany, an agricultural region of France, I already worked in several non-organic farms, but I can feel that more and more farmers discover what organic agriculture is. They discover that combining opportunities and respect of nature are possible, and they usually find proof and knowledge in their ancestor way of cultivating ! What I really want, is meeting actors from this movement, exchange knowledge and views on alternative and sustainable ways of living. I want to feel I am putting my shoulder to the wheel ! Ciao.

So let me give you directions on how to get to us….once you get to Merida you need to get a bus from the noreste station which is on Calle 67 inbetween Calle 50 and 52. Get the bus to Cuzama. Once you get to cuzama try and give me a call, there is an internet cafe who has a phone and also the taxi boys will also call me for you!
