What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
Last summer I worked on a WWOOF herb farm in Spokane Washington, USA. (Check out the link!) We spent our time weeding, feeding the animals, building shelves for the green house, managing the massive compost piles, preparing soil for new gardens, harvesting (then eating!), painting, collecting eggs, and enjoying new company. I enjoyed myself thoroughly and am looking forward to a similar experience in Mexico!
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I grew up in western Washington (state) and graduated from college in Virginia in 2013. I worked in Virginia for a year or so after that then moved to Korea to teach English in early 2015. Traveling and being abroad was absolutely monumental in shaping me as a person but I realized if the people I love most weren't with me to experience the world it wasn't as exciting. Because of that I happily returned home to Seattle where I've been working as an AmeriCorps member with United Way. My cohort has been tasked with implementing breakfast programs at high needs elementary schools. My term ends this summer and I'm looking forward to spending some time in Mexico working hard and getting know new people.
