What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
None. We're all learning together. I always grew organic gardens back in the US, but applying this experience here in a tropical climate requires adaptability, investigation, experimentation, and patience. I was never a granjera before, so never had a need for learning large-scale agriculture techniques.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I'm currently on a break from WWOOFing in Mexico, and am not checking messages very often.
hi emily,
your project sonds fantastic, I really love to work with kids. I`m in Mexico from the 27th of January until the end of february and I would be really happy if I could help at your farm. I know a little bit of spanish and I have quite some experience in working with kids.

We are WWOOF hosts in Canada and hope to travel to Mexico for the first time this February. We are a couple traveling with our two children ages 2 and 6 and wonder if it would be appropriate to come WWOOF at your farm?
We are not looking for a long stay, just a chance to connect with organic farmers and ecology-minded people while we are there.
We have nine goats at our home as we host a goat dairy co-op and have experience milking and caring for them.
Is the corn eaten on your farm grown there? Is it grown from organic seed?
I am interested in discussing the possibility of my joining your farm. I am interested in helping in any way I can. I am studying fungi and would love to help you get some edible fungi growing at the farm. I think I will be flying to sothern Mexico in early-mid february. If there is room on the farm and/or potential for me to spend some time there starting in late feb. or march, I would like to discuss possibilities and details.
Hi,
We are going to travel in Mexico & Guatemala for six months. We are really interested in working in your organic farm like volunteers. We have some experience in solar oven, ecological technologies and organic gardening. We are so enthusiasm to learn and discover.
We have planed to be in Oaxaca in March. We hope that it will be possible to come in your farm during this period (for 2-3 weeks).
another emily..i was wondering if you had room for two hard workin', fun lovin' wwofers this summer. and if so, how far ahead we need to plan. we'll be there from mid may through august. flying in and out of oaxaca. would love to hear from you soon.
Hey Emily, I would love to lend a hand in building an adobe. I won't embark upon my travels until June. Please let me know what your plans are from then on, I hope we can arrange for me to come help you develop your farm.
Thanks Emily for the info and invitation! How far away is your farm from Puerto Escondido??? For the moment we are getting settled in...as soon as we have time we'll try to stop by and take a look at the farm...looking forward to meeting you! :)
thanks emily for your invitation, but i already accepted offer in Xalapa and i only stay 1 month in mexico. maybe next time, i am looking forward to wwoof again in december during my winter break. if then you still need help, i am glad to come.
Hello!
You left me a comment not to long ago about the possibility of me and my friends coming out to your farm, it's just me now here in Mexico, both my friends have returned to Europe. And i am currently in Valle de Bravo for a month or so, but I am very excited to know that a place on your farm might exist.
As life goes on I am learning that plans are often times pointless.. But as time passes I hope to keep in touch because I am trying to make my way down south, and Oaxaca is beautiful, and it sounds like your property has got it goin on.
Thanks for the thought..
II'll check back with you in the near future.
