Hola Andy and Dorothy,
We are Nick Threndyle and Chantelle Smith,a couple from Victoria BC, Canada. We are currently travelling by van around Mexico, and are very interested in spending some time WWOOFing. We are particularily interested in learning about cob and earthbag construction. We have a background in organic food distribution, and I grew up on a farm and have experience with animal husbandry and operating farm equipment. We both live our lives as enviromentally friendly as possible. Chantelle and I are both artistic and are interested in the creative aspects of natural building as well. I speak passable Spanish and Chantelle is in the process of learning. We would love the opportunity to join you at your center and contribute to its operation. We live out of our van so we do not require accomadation. Please contact us and let us know if you have space available.

Best,
Nick Thendyle, and Chantelle Smith

Hi, my friend and I are traveling through central and south america from the US with no real time obligations and we are looking for farms on our way down to stay with. We would most likely only stay a couple of weeks at a time, but as I said we aren't tied down on time so if you need us longer and it works out we'd love to stick around! We will have our own gear so wont take up much room at all. What questions do you have for us and what should we know?

I look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Hola,

I would like to volunteer for 4 weeks this summer. Ideally, I would like to begin work on 8/10 but have flexibility. Last summer I spent 3 months in Mexico living with a host family and spoke Spanish pretty well when I left. I love Mexico and want to improve my Spanish. I like working outdoors.

I've spent 15 weeks (5 in 2006 and 10 in 2007) working for the Northwest Youth Corps in Oregon, USA doing reforestation, conservation and recreation projects. This was a residential jobs training program. I lived as part of a team in back country primitive campsites, living in tents, cooking communal meals and sharing the daily responsibilities of camp life.

I want to get hands on experience in sustainable, organic farming. I would enjoy working with a committed team. I've visited San Miguel de Allende and would love return. Becoming more fluent in Spanish would be a major plus.

I look forward to your reply! Thank you for your consideration.

ola,
we are two travellers interested by collective living, heading south now in Tamipco. We have been on this trip for now about 3 weeks in mexico, we love to travel around but we want to create stronger friendship by living and helping out.
We have already knowledge in farming (from family of farmers), gardening animal care and beekeeping, and would like to share experience by helping out.We are also interested about auto construction with experiences in it.
We really want to work with our hands, and helping to build alternatives together.

Let me know if you would like us to come to your farm we will be more than happy to do so.
please if you can let me know as soon as possible I would apreciate it.

thanxs and take care
josee and antoine

Dear Andy and Dorothy,

Two friends of mine (both WWOOF Mexico members) and I are going to be traveling in Mexico this July, and we were wondering if we could work for you for a week or two during that time period. All of us have a little experience with organic gardening, and we would love to learn more. We are three young college-age women who are eager to travel and farm in Mexico! We are from Pennsylvania, USA, and one of the women I will be traveling with is very proficient in Spanish, however, I am just a beginner.

Let me know if you would like us to come to your farm.

Thank you!
Robin
