6,825 hectares. Conservation, Organic gardens and orchards We are an environmentaleducation school that focuses on conservation, education and scientific research. We are located in a wilderness campus and host high school and college courses from various educational institutions. The school is remote, rustic and beautiful and contains hundreds of learning opportunities for interns. We expect to host permaculture, green building workshops this year. We have adobe houses and facilities on solar, our water comes from springs we tapped ourselves, we use composting toilets. Last summer we established some small organic permaculture gardens, we want to expand these in order to produce more of our food.

Our ranch is ecologically diverse and has a small buffalo herd, believe it or not buffalo were indigenous to this area. Various scientific projects have occurred here including a native fish study and macroinvertebrate study. I believe the school has great potential to host some hardworking interns interested in sustainability, ecology, conservation and of course organic farming and fun. We have great rock climbing from 5.7 to 5.12 and bouldering, hiking, mountain biking, 35 miles of the Tutuaca River run through the ranch, kayaking and swimming for days and afternoons off. We expect our interns to work 5 ½ days a week with 5 hour work days.

Lodging: We have a bunk house for interns, two main rooms including a kitchen and a loft.

Meals: we provide simple food. We cannot cater to vegans but can feed vegetarians.

I'm new to the WWOOF experience. I'm interested in sustainable agriculture but my primary interests are international development and Spanish. I would love to check out the farm. I'm planning to be in Mexico between the 13-20 of March and would love to visit/help out.

Hi there!

I will be in Mexico City in as little as two weeks, and would love to travel to volunteer with you for 6 to 8 weeks if that is convenient.

I have recently joined WWOOF Mexico and look forward to being able to support the work of organic farms such as yourselves.
I have little experience beyond my own small vegetable patch at home but I am very willing and keen to learn and certainly not afraid of hard work!
At the moment I am trying to pick up some Spanish and hope to improve it during my stay.
I would really appreciate it if you could get back to me as soon as you can so that I can confirm dates in the next week or so,

thank you ,

Sophie

Hola.

Estoy dispusta a trabajar duro y a aprender mucho.

Gracias

I plan on leaving for Mexico from Los Angeles in mid April and would love to make a stop at your farm to get my hands dirty for a while. I've got loads of experience in everything from complicated construction projects to gardening. I am able bodied and willing to work. It looks like I'll be traveling alone for the time being, so I'll only need accommodation for one. If you can use my services let me know and we'll get something set in stone.

Hola!

I am interrested in working on your farm for about 10 weeks, starting from the beginning of july.
I need an internship as I am studiing Environmental ressource management.
Your farm sound to be the perfect place to do my internship!
I love nature and everything connected with farming. My intend is to learn as much as possible about permaculture, be productive and do all this with people, who got the same interrests.

Looking forward for your reply!

Hello,
My name is Stacey and I am currently managing a garden center in Tennessee but would relish the chance to do some work in Mexico. I am in the process of applying to grad school and would like to have some real world ecological research experience, plus I just like to play outside and get my hands dirty. If you have any open spots June through August, please let me know. excited about hearing back.

I'm very interested in working on your farm at the beginning of june, for about 5 weeks. I have a great interest in sustainable living and agriculture, and permaculture. I have always had an innate connection with nature and have just started with obtaining knowledge on how to live a self sustainable life, so I may one day live sustainably. I have always been an avid gardener and constructor, I would love to led a hand on building an adobe or any other structures that need work done. Please let me know, if we can arrange for my stay and any other information you may need about me.
