The property is on stone quarry with a splendid view of the lake and the mountains. Alot of work has been done to enrich the soil. One of the houses has a green roof dedicated to growing vegetables. The work would be to landscape, garden and take care of fruit trees and a small herbal garden. There are two finished houses on the premises and one on the way to being finished. Participants should have a willingness to work and learn.

There are three houses on the premises each interesting architectually. The houses are ocassionally used for meditation retreats and rented some weekends. I am a scupltor, painter, furniture designer and lead groups in Vipassana meditation

there is an open kitchen and group meals could be organized.

Dear Victor,
I did landscaping for two years in Seattle, am very interested in spiritual developement and also am a fairly adept sculptor and musician- not that that has anything to do with the Woof crew, but I would love find some clay.
For the past for months I have been fising up a friends property in sayulita while living there- but I find there are too may tourists and its noisy here. If you have any need of help between march and june, I am available.
Thanks,
Ray

Morgan Fuhrmeister Comment by Morgan Fuhrmeister on March 13, 2009 at 3:10pm
Hello Victor,
This is Morgan Fuhrmeister, we spoke earlier today on the phone about spending the month of April working on your farm. I was wondering if it would be possible to come around the 27th of March, and stay until the first of second of May. I am not sure if you have a maximum amount of time your wwoofers can stay at your house, if this is the case then our dates can certainly be adjusted to accommodate your schedule. I am from Washington State and traveling with me is my good friend Hanka from the Czech Republic. We both are very interested in permaculture and have some experience with gardening and landscaping. But we both would love to improve on our skills. We would come with lots of energy to put in to any projects,
and a huge willingness to learn more.

Thank you so much for your time, and we look forward to meeting you.

Morgan and Hanka

ps. were wondering if you had any animals on your farm?

Hola Victor, tengo interes en trabajar en tu granja entre el primero de julio - veintiuno julio. I also practice Vipassana meditation, and tomorrow I will be attending my second 10-day course. I would love to be able to do landscaping and gardening work in an environment that promotes Vipassana values. I will be spending April through June at a Spanish school in Guatemala, so I should be quite proficient in Spanish by July. I am really excited about this opportunity. Let me know if it sounds possible.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Diana Baron-Moore Comment by Diana Baron-Moore on April 21, 2009 at 9:58pm
Hola,
Saludos,
Diana

yo victor, I know why that composting toilet wasnt exuding the most lovely of scents, for a composting toilet you need to use dry material, not green grass, the absolute best substance to use with a composting toilet is sawdust. hope your keeping it real.monica
