The rural production cooperative society Inajil Jetseknakil is located in the county of Tzucacab in Yucatan, Mexico. Any volunteer can help and support Inajil Jetseknakil by working in their own areas of specialization and developing tasks that will aid to reach the inner objectives of the Cooperative and as well as the members general needs.
A) Working days and schedule:
From Monday to Friday: 7 working hours per day
Saturday: 5 hours per day
Sunday: Day off
Volunteers work basically in reforestation, growing vegetables and fruit trees by applying ecological techniques; they spend some time in the production of bio fertilizers, breeding hens and turkeys as well as other farm animals like goats and sheep. Finally we work on the production of organic eggs.
The ground is 244 hectares long. There is a hen run, a single farmyard for the sheep and another one for the goats. Some parts of the field have irrigation facilities and they are also distributed to take advantage of the sun energy. There is a relax area with a swimming pool and clean paths where it is possible to practice biking or enjoy relaxing walks.

Hello,
I will be traveling to southern Mexico in the month of April with my boyfriend. We are both WWOOF members and are eager to get out of city life and into farm living. Our travel plans are open ended. We are planning to travel from farm to farm from Mexico City up to the Yucatan Peninsula. We wish to help on your farm and are planning our trip based on farm's needs. Soy Marie de Francia, i’m twenty one. I've planned to travel usefully in South-America from March to July 2010 before continuing my university studies in anthropology. I’m writing to you because I’d like to do some WWOOFing in your farm during month of april 2010.
I'm very interested in organic farm lifestyle and I’ld like to be useful during my trip, to discover and experiment different cultures and other lifestyles. I think WWOOFing is a real beautiful opportunity to combine all my expectations.
I don't have a real experience in farming, but I am very enthusiastic and expect to learn new things, to work and assist you in your projects.
I’m learning Spanish language which I really enjoy and I am excited to improve my Spanish skills !
Could it be possible to stay in your farm several weeks ? I would be very glad to participate to your project, to use my energy by helping you.

Hola* me llamo Ellen, soy de holanda* i´m working at a farm in oaxaca right now and i´m realy interested in working at your farm in februari, .so far i´ve only grown my own herbs, but i´m eager to learn more...eating organic food has kept me healthy over the past 20 years and i want to get my fingers into the earth..and learn more about sustainable living. HI !
Do you need some workers for in the
beginning of April ? We don't have experience in WWOOFing but i'm pretty interested! My friend has experience WWOOFing in Canada and she studied in horticulture. Our first langage is french, we also speak english and we don't speak spanish at all! By experience, I know that it is more effective to learn a language while you're working! Let me know if you need some help!

Hola me llamo Rodrigo y me interesa mucho trabajar en su granja. Tengo experiencia como wooffer en Oaxaca, Chiapas y Costa Rica. He realizado y aprendido diversas actividades, como; plantar, cosechar, construcción biodegradable, estoy muy interesado en seguir aprendiendo. Me gustaría trabajar con ustedes a mediados de Marzo y puedo estar 15 días. Espero su respuesta, saludos.

my name is Julie, I´m 27 years old and I´m from Belgium. I´m travelling around these days in Mexico and would be very happy to have the opportunity to combine this with a working experience on your farm. Are you still in the search for people for the period of 10 march untill mid april? I could stay and help on your farm from one week up to three weeks.
This would be my first experience with WOOFFING but I can say that I am very open minded to meet new people and new things, active, eager to learn and passionate about nature. I graduated last summer as a biologist and I´m interested mostly in sustainable development.
I took courses of Spanish in Belgium and these days I´m making good improvements by talking to mexican people.
