Greetings, we are a young couple living in a beutifull mountain town outside of Tepoztlan. We have been working with the land for some time creating an eco-village. We are looking for positive people with experience in permaculture, green building, and gardening. Activities may include watering plants(when not rainy season may-august), building with local materials, planting, harvesting, ect..

Lodging:

Lodging will be in tee-pees or camping depending on available space.

Meals:

We have organized an organic market here for the community that opens every friday. With the market and our own organic fruits and veggies we eat very healthy and almost completely organic. An example of a daily menu organic oatmeal with local fruits and nuts tea or coffie. A large salad en the afternoon with fruit water, and a very light dinner of snacks and tea.

hey guys,
My girlfriend and I are travelling around Mexico for the next few months and are looking for a place to expand our interest in agriculture, community, and a more sustainable way of living on this earth. After viewing your page we decided that we would really love to experience and learn from what you guys have created here in Mexico.
I aprrenticed on a small, organic farm in Washington state a few years ago, where i learned how to things work from seed to harvest and ultimatley to market/CSA.
My grilfriend and I have also wwoofed extensively through Spain and the US and generally love gardening and living in nature (and travel, obviously).
We have until mid-May to travel around an experience as much in Mexico before we go back to the US, so we hope that we can work something out in the near future.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon, Nate

Hola!

Me llamo Amy. I am doing some travelling during March and would love to
help out at your farm. I am 31 and am from the smallest state in the US, Rhode Island. I have always had an interest in organic agriculture. I have some experience with farming (with both plants and animals). Also, I have a degreee in Environmental Science and Management so I am very knowledgable about sustainable practices. In the past, I was an environmental educator for 5 years.

I am a very hard-worker and very adaptable. I am also a quick learner. My spanish is fairly good. I believe that organic farming is such an important piece in our struggle towards a more sustainable world. I would love to have the chance to volunteer at your farm to help make this happen!

Please contact me to let me know if you will be needing someone during March. I look forward to hearing from you.

Muchas Gracias!
Amy

Doerthe, Steve, Paolo Comment by Doerthe, Steve, Paolo on December 21, 2009 at 6:01pm
Hola

We are Doerthe, Steve (from Germany) and Paolo (from Italy). While travelling around mexico we would like to take some experience in farm working and ecological techniques.
Here some "facts" about us: Doerthe: 26 years, just finished the diploma of occupational therapy - Paolo: 35 years, lawyer&cook - Steve: 23 years, carpenter.

We are easy going persons and don't need much for being happy....we like being surrounded by nature and positive people. Putting all our skills together we are a good mixed team. We are able to work with our hands as well as with our head, mind, heart and soul.

Right now we are in Tulum/Quintana Roo and don´t have any time schedule. We could start working whenever you need someone. We are open to work, live and learn for some weeks in the same place.

Would be nice to hear from you.
Saludos

Hi
My name is Bea, from Belgium, and I am traveling through Mexico with my boyfriend. We are very eager to learn more about ecological farming and living. 26 and 30 years old, we have been interested in and exploring these subjects over the past couple of years. We are now ready to enrich our interest with a greater amount of practical experience, combined with traveling and discovering other cultures.
We are enthusiastic workers and very motivated to assist you with your project. Please let us know if you have any availability for volunteers.
Looking forward to your reply,
Bea
