Now im coming to Mexico for some months. Also i have a friend from the US who would like to come with me, we are a good & hard working team!
I've studied spanish for a year and i usted to live in Spain some years ago, so now its time to remember that language too.

Hi your farm sounds amazing and i prefer a long term commitment and am looking to WWOOF August-September. I'm not a student of horticulture but I am very interested in learning. I have a diverse background and am looking to utilize my skills while re-connecting with the Earth and understanding the need for future sustainable living practices. I started as a river guide in Grand Canyon National Park in 1991. I developed a profound caring about the natural environment and feeling of responsibility & stewardship toward the land. I guided on the San Juan & Green Rivers in Utah and the Salmon & Snake rivers in Idaho. That led me to volunteer with the Nez Pierce Indians at the Wolf Education & Research Center in Idaho in 1999, when the re-introduction of Wolves was in its infant stages in the North Western U.S. I found it exhilarating and spiritually inspiring.
Back in the Grand Canyon I started building trail on a crew utilizing Pack Mules and Pack Mule Strings (I’ve shoveled tons of dirt & rock in extreme conditions with some stubborn but fantastic creatures). I have experience living on-site at equestrian centers: maintaining barn, horses, feed, meds, paddocks, tack, grounds in Massachusetts, Martha’s Vineyard & Arizona.
This past winter I travelled in Asia focusing on the inner journey. I studied Yoga: Hatha, Ashtanga, Pranayama, Mantra & various meditation practices. I am ready to embark on a journey learning and promoting sustainable agriculture, farming, gardening and living.
I have experience in public relations and could help with public outreach programs. I produced a series for public access T.V. in Arizona during the 2006 elections focusing on local candidates who choose to live with a sustainable approach and implement programs to promote this legislatively. I then became producer for the A.M. Arizona show on AZ-TV in which I ensured many segments that focused on green living, farming, architecture and environmental issues.
I hope to hear from you, Muchas gracias, Pura Vida & Namaste~

Hola!
My friend Candice and I would like to WOOF in this area. We are very interested in the political history, culture and terrain there. We are both Canadian and will be spending time in Mexico this summer.
We are 2 strong, intelligent, kind and hard working women. We're also both a lot of fun to be around! We both truly appreciate agriculture and are eager to learn.
What type of farming is done at your farm? Could you tell me a bit more about the farm itself?
Would you have room for 2 volunteers to WOOF for 2 weeks or longer between the period of June 9th to August 9th 2010?

Please let us know. I look forward to hearing from you!
Arturo Hernandez Comment by Arturo Hernandez on March 5, 2010 at 1:33pm
Hola!
y gracias,
Arturo.

I would like to say were hard workers who want as much experience in as many aspects on the farm as possible. we're flying in to Mexico City and working our way up to Baja California with no solid plans so if you have space on your farm for one or two weeks between the 15th of feb and the first of april we love to come.
If you could let us know as soon as poss so we can make plans
Thanks

Hola. Me llamo Elena y soy española.
