Small ranch at 40 Kms north of Puerto Vallarta , located in a jungle area. At a ten minutes walk distance is the town San Francisco (a.k.a. San Pancho) and also the coastline with an immense beach.
The project that we have is to elaborate an organic vegetable garden, raise rabbits and chickens, and build small wood cabins. Chores will also include the maintenance of the regular garden and fence, small carpentry projects, and help in the kitchen.
We speak Spanish, Italian, French and some English. We require daily work of 5 hours 5 days a week. During the raining season (August, September, October) Wwofers will have accommodation in an common area open Palapa. However they will have to bring their own tent. Shower and toilet available.
No kids, no pets.
We have two bikes for transportation.
Wwofers are welcome all year round.
Lodging:
Around July to February ( part rainy season, part cold season), volunteers will be hosted in an common area open Palapa , where volunteers will have to bring their sleeping bags and sleeping mat. Sleeps 8.
Around March to June (dry season) volunteers will have to bring their tents.
Meals:
Three meals will be offered. Part of the farms chores is helping in the kitchen. Task that will be rotated among those working in the farm. Sometimes hostess will join and guide the cooking. Volunteers need to be open to eat anything: meats (we do not eat crickets nor worms : ) vegetables.... Vegetable garden will start with the help of the first volunteers.
