TRAVEL : 13km from main town
Our Sustainable Development Center is located on 15
acres of land outside of San Miguel de Allende in the Sierra Madre Mountains. We teach primarily alternative building workshops in earthbag construction and cob. We have a large organic garden which includes medicinal and culinary herbs. We have an olive orchard and raised trees from seed in our reforestation project. WWOOFers will help in all ongoing projects. Please see our website for more information. Depending on when you come and our focus at the time, you may learn aspects of earthbag construction, humanure composting system, SODIS water purification, solar oven, thermal bag cooking, and gardening skills.

hi there! i will be in mexico starting the middle of march for about two months. I would like to come earlier like the end of march. please let me know if you have room for two adults- both with traditional farming experience, but very receptive to organic methods. thanks!

Hola,
estamos dos amigos francese y vamos viajar en mexico durante tres meses desde el 20 de noviembre hasta el mes de enero.
Hemos previsto quedarse tres semanas en granjas pero poemos quedar mas o menos; depende del proyecto de cada granja.
Estamos muy interesado pasar un tiempo en su granja para trabajar en agricultura y construcciones.
Su granja parece proponer muchos trabajos diferentes y todos interesantes.
Me gustaria mucho aprender construir distintos tipos de habitaciones y queria saber mas sobre este proyecto ( earthbag, por ejemplo) si podemos encontrarse.

My name is Bea, and I will be traveling through Mexico with my boyfriend from November onwards. We are very eager to learn more about ecological farming and living. 26 and 30 years old, we have been interested in and exploring these subjects over the past couple of years. We are now ready to enrich our interest with a greater amount of practical experience, combined with traveling and discovering other cultures.
We are enthusiastic workers and very motivated to assist you with your project(s). Please let us know if you have any availability for volunteers from November onwards.

I am currently staying in Cuenavaca and would be interested to work at your farm. I am available from Jan to Feb and I am quite flexible between these dates. I do not have any experience in farming but i am acustomed to hard work and have some carpentry skills.

Me and Beth are coming to beautiful mexico soon, would love to meet you guys and spend some time on your farm.
We've Wwoofed in Portugal and really enjoyed ourselfs. I would like to say were hard workers who want as much experience in as many aspects on the farm as possible. we're flying in to Mexico City and working our way up to Baja California with no solid plans so if you have space on your farm for one or two weeks between the 15th of feb and the first of april we love to come.
If you could let us know as soon as poss so we can make plans

My gilfrien and I are travelling around Mexico until mid-May and are looking for a farm to extend our farming and sustainable living knowledge. Your place sounds really great and we would love to come and lend a hand and learn more about what you guys are doing over there in Guanajuato.
Our dates are flexible up until the middle of May...

Hola! Me llamo Arturo, soy puertorriqueño y estoy muy interesado en trabajar en la granja de ustedes. No tengo ninguna experiencia previa en cultivos organicos, sin embargo estoy muy interesado en aprender y hacer algo util con mi tiempo y mis energias. Sí he trabajado como voluntario (dos meses) en Tepanyehual (estado de Puebla) construyendo braceros ecosustentables. En Londres tambien hice trabajo comunitario. Pienso estar disponible para trabajar desde mediados de junio hasta principios de agosto.
Espero saber de ustedes pronto!
