We have a seed-saving project on the outskirts of San Cristobal since 2003 which is funded by DANA Association, a Mexican non-profit organization, and our organic vegetarian restaurant and bakery, La Casa del Pan, on land loaned to us in historic Rancho Esquipulas. Volunteers help at the garden from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with composting, worm management, planting, watering, seed-saving and harvesting. We have accommodations for WWOOFers and can welcome up to 4 volunteers at a time. We require a minimum stay of 2 weeks.

Meals:
Volunteers receive complementary breakfast & lunch in La Casa del Pan´s restaurant and a 10% discount in the bakery.

Hello,
I will be traveling to southern Mexico in the month of April with my boyfriend. We are both WWOOF members and are eager to get out of city life and into farm living. Our travel plans are open ended. We are planning to travel from farm to farm from Mexico City up to the Yucatan Peninsula. We wish to help on your farm and are planning our trip based on farm's needs. Will you need help on your farm during the months of april or may? Thank you for your time.

We are currently in Campeche and will be traveling around Chiapas an Oaxaca for the next several weeks. If you have any room for us we would love to hear from you. Muchas gracias.

Hello, I very interested in working with you and learning about your operations. I have previous wwoof experience as I have been interested in farming, permaculture and general alternative living. I plan on traveling to southern mexico towards the end of May or possibly the begining of June. I also have several years experience in the culinary arts and would enjoy the opportunity to help in the restaurant and bakery. If you have the need for a single hard working and energetic individual I would greatly enjoy working with you. Additionally, if you do not have room for wwoofers, do you have suggestions for local accommodations.

Hola,

I'm very interested in working on your farm for 1or 2 weeks in july-august; I would like to know more about Chiapas, its history, its culture, its agriculture and its environment. I'm very interested in meeting travelers because I have been travelling all around the world and especially in south america, I'm fluent in French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch. I'm a hard worker and a good teammate.
Please let me know, if we can arrange for my stay and any other information you may need about me.

I would like to help, if you need the help. My travel schedule is pretty open but it seems I could get there around the 15th or so of June- perhaps earlier, perhaps later. And I'd stay for about a week or so.Let me know if you could use the help! Gracias y suerte!
