I am a canadian-mexican citizen and I have many plans in doing organic farming and raising animals without growth hormones.
My family and I own about 35 hectares of beautiful land in the "Country of the Monark butterfly" in the regions of Irimbo, Aporo and Hidalgo in the state of Michoacan.I am just starting to plant trees, build cabins and buy animals, so I need plenty of help to get the farms going. The weather here is very nice. It is goes from 4 to 22 degress in winter and from 10 to 25 in the months of april and may. The rainy (june-september) season brings reshnes. I speak very fluently French, English and Spanish.

The farms are near town so woofers can go explore and have fun or take spanish courses.

I am building cabins, but in case of there no being room, there is plenty of camping ground with amazing views. There is much running water.

The main meal will be served around 2 or 3. It will be vegeterian and ocasionaly non-vegetarian. There will be a large variety of fruit and vegetables available for woofers at any time of the day. Eggs, bread, beans, milk, oatmeal, etc., will be given for breakfast.
I know that a well-nurished wwoofer is a happy and hard working wwoofer.

Hello,
I am going to Morelia this week and will be exploring the area. I am not sure where you are located. Can you tell me what the best way to get to your farm?
If you need any wwoofers in February, please let me know. I am a vegetarian chef with a lot of interest in growing healthy foods.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Thank you,

Hey,
I am currently in Guatemala but I will go to Mexico next week. That is why I am searching for some work. Do you have some more space at your farm? And if yes, when could I come to start working?
I am looking forward to hear from you

Greetings,
My name is Jackie Robson and my husband is Bill.
We would like to volunteer as WWOOFERS during the months of January through March 2010.
Our background information;
We live in Victoria, BC, Canada. While at home, Bill works as a Realtor and I'm a Horticulturist\Community Garden organizer. We're both very active volunteers – Bill is on the board of a community development organization called Innovative Communities.org. I work and volunteer in several community garden projects in town. We're very interested in alternative building and energy systems, co-housing, organic gardening and most recently, raising urban chickens.
We've spent 3 winters, working as WWOOFERS in Costa Rica, traveling to several other central american countries, learning Spanish.
We kept returning to the farm in Costa Rica,(The Ark) having become friends with the owners. It has been difficult reaching Tommy since his wife Pat has died so we don't know if we can provide a reference there.
We spent another 2 winters in Guatemala living/volunteering/studying/making rich friendships with the spanish speaking Mayans. We could provide a reference from the Spanish school that we volunteered for in San Pedro. Contact Javier at javier.navichoc@gmail.com

We both love to work, gardening, painting, animal caretaking, you name it, while maintaining a balance between work and play. Looking forward to another warm Mexican winter and using our rather rusty Spanish again.

Hi
My name is Bea, from Belgium, and I will be traveling through Mexico with my boyfriend from November onwards. We are very eager to learn more about ecological farming and living. 26 and 30 years old, we have been interested in and exploring these subjects over the past couple of years. We are now ready to enrich our interest with a greater amount of practical experience, combined with traveling and discovering other cultures.
We are enthusiastic workers and very motivated to assist you with your project(s). Please let us know if you have any availability for volunteers from November onwards.
Looking forward to your reply,
Bea

Hola !

Soy Marie de Francia, i’m twenty one. I've planned to travel usefully in South-America from March to July 2010 before continuing my university studies in anthropology. I’m writing to you because I’d like to do some WWOOFing in your farm during March 2010 (from March 8th to March 31th approximately).
I'm very interested in organic farm lifestyle and I’ld like to be useful during my trip, to discover and experiment different cultures and other lifestyles. I think WWOOFing is a real beautiful opportunity to combine all my expectations.
I don't have a real experience in farming, but I am very enthusiastic and expect to learn new things, to work and assist you in your projects.
I’m learning Spanish language which I really enjoy and I am excited to improve my Spanish skills !
Could it be possible to stay in your farm several weeks ? I would be very glad to participate to your project, to use my energy by helping you.
Do you need some help ?
Is it possible for you to give me more informations about the way it is going if it's ok?

Looking forward for your reply . Gracias para la repuesta !

Bye,Marie.

Hello,
I have recently arrived in Mexico, and am excited about the opportunity to spend some time Wwoofing. I love being outdoors in the garden, however the idea of helping with construction also interests me. How is everything coming along at your farm by the way? I am willing to help with any of your current projects. I am hopefully in Mexico for around 3months, and am free from early Jan.
Let me know if you need some help,
Thankyou,
Saya

Bonjour,
