holy mole is a two acre hillside area just out side of Erongaricauro, it currently has three buildings, on the upper half, at different stages of completion, the view of lago de Patzcuaro is absolutely breath taking. The lower half is where the garden will developed, currently we have a sheep shed with eight sheep and a small hen house with three happy hens and a corral where we made adobes last year. I'm interested in a collaborative effort into creating sustainable living. We will start by preparing soil through composting for growing herbs in pots, vegetables in beds, and a special cactus fruit named patahya in rows. Canning and trying out different recipes that use all of the harvest, plus solar energy and water storage and conservation will be explored as time permits.

Lodging:

The main building is two stories and has two very comfortable bedrooms upstairs with a shared bathroom, shower with hot water where you would stay.

Meals:

I will provide the three meals each day and would expect some help with dinner and the clean up. I love making new dishes from Mexican and Indian recipes. I have had good luck with both.

Hey,
My name is Katii and I'm nineteen years old. I'm interested in staying on your farm from the middle of June for two-three weeks. I'm a first time WWOOF-er but curious. I've had experience with working on farms before. Two summers ago, I spent two weeks in Italy living with a host family and helping them build a community center for children who weren't living in exceptional conditions. I worked about 50 hours a week and did very well. I'm used to working very long hours for extended amounts of time. I have great interests in organic farming and want to improve my Spanish since I'm mildly conversational and would like to become fluent.

Please tell me if this is a good fit! Look forward to hearing from you!

Hello, my girlfriend and I are Quebecer (french canadian). We like to grow plants and would like to work on your farm. We both know a bit of spanish and are very interested in organic culture. I think we reach the time where we need to make some changes and apply our knowledge. We are great workers and have experiences with home vegetables garden, I did also work as a cook. We are able to work from late may to mid june (24 may to 11 june or so).

Expecting news from you,

Guillaume

Hola,

I and my girlfriend Caterina would like to join your farm as volunteers between 12-28 June. Dates may be adjusted or prolonged, please let us know what suits you. We are friendly and hardworking people who are trying to see different parts of Mexico and improve our Spanish (upper intermediate). Caterina had experience with WWOOF farms before and as a graduate student interested in sustainable agriculture I want to start learning about it on the ground. We would be handy for garden work. Please let us know if you have space available. My email address is alper.yagci@yahoo.com.

We are looking forward to hearing from you!
