The Bosque Village is an 83 acre forested retreat center/campground in the Michoacán highlands. We offer opportunities for volunteers to learn natural building, permaculture techniques, healthy vegetarian cooking, and much more.

We seek hard working, self motivated individuals interested in ecological practices and sustainable living. The ideal candidate will have researched permaculture and natural building before applying, and is enthusiastic about working with us to help create and enhance the Bosque Village naturescape.

The Bosque Village is located in a very rural location. Candidates should be willing to experience life in our remote forest.

Hello. Your profile looks interesting and I would like to learn more about you. I have been woofing the last 2 winters in Mexico & Costa Rica; growing and building with various projects & people. In the summer I also work with a family growing organic vegetables. My time frame would probably be sometime in April. I have been to Michoacan but this is the first I have heard of you; its a beautiful place !

Hola!

I am interrested in working on your farm for about 10 weeks, starting from the beginning of july.
I need an internship as I am studiing Environmental ressource management.
Your farm sounds to be a good place to do my internship, where I can take on responsibility and fullfill the requirements for university!
I love nature and everything connected with farming. My intend is to learn as much as possible about permaculture, be productive and do all this with people, who got the same interrests.

Looking forward for your reply!

Hi
My name is Bea, and I will be traveling through Mexico with my boyfriend from November onwards. We are very eager to learn more about ecological farming and living. 26 and 30 years old, we have been interested in and exploring these subjects over the past couple of years. We are now ready to enrich our interest with a greater amount of practical experience, combined with traveling and discovering other cultures.
We are enthusiastic workers and very motivated to assist you with your project(s). Please let us know if you have any availability for volunteers from November onwards.
Looking forward to your reply,
Bea

Hi,

I am an organic farmer in Massachusetts and will be traveling in Mexico for the month of January. I would love to come wwoof at your retreat center and help in any way. I have experience growing veggies and fruit, so it would be great to help you with your permaculture projects. I also speak Spanish and love to cook. Please let me know if you need help in January.

Gracias,
Ellie

Hello Bosque Village Contact,

I am currently in Eronga at the permaculture farm Las Canoas Altas. I hoped to learn about other projects in the area before leaving Mexico. Could I stop by for a day or two (or more if you prefer) sometime before the 22nd, preferably some date around the 13th or 14th? At your convenience, please let me know your thoughts.

Please note that I only check my email every couple of days, as I need to walk into town to do so.

Many thanks,
Chris

Hi.!

I’m French, 28 years old, I’m having a 10 months trip from New York to French Guyana, woofing and enjoying my time one the way. I’ve just leave a farm in Chihuahua 2 weeks ago and I’m actually on the Passific coast. I’m looking for a farm to stay for a week or more before Christmas.
I’m used to work in farms, and interested in all kinds of organic stuff. I can do any kind of work, and enjoy learning more about farming…
I’m looking for different farms to stay throw Mexico.
Let me know if you are interest to meet me.

Hola!

My name is Sarah and I am traveling with 4 others by bicycle down the Pacific Coast of Mexico. We would love to stay and work with you if you have room for wwoofers in late January, that is when we may arrive near Erongaricuaro. We are also traveling with all our own equipment for accomodations and are working on our Spanish.

Gracias!

Dear Folks,

I had an awesome experience at Bosque and would love to stop by again sometime in the future. I have met and made so many wonderful, caring and passionate people at this place. I miss them and wish them all well. If you are looking for some good time in an international community, then this is a place for you. Marie and Brian thanks and wish you both well.

Cheers,
Hema
